HARMFUL DRUGS KILL 22-YEAR-OLD MAN IN KAILAHUN

A 22-year-old, Mohamed Suma, tragically lost his life on Sunday, July 6th, 2025, due to the harmful intake of tramadol tablets in Kailahun town. The Reports indicate that he consumed the medication without drinking water and on an empty stomach, which they said, exacerbated its effects. The deceased was discovered at a location known as the ‘Kush pole,’ an area notorious for drug use.

The circumstances surrounding his death have raised concerns about the dangers of harmful drug consumption among young boys and girls in the community. Meanwhile, the authorities are reportedly investigating the circumstances surrounding the rampant intake of tramadol among youths in the district.
